I spend a lot of time making glass into different shapes but sometimes it's nice to let it do its own thing. This transparent glass drop was created just by heating the glass and letting it move. The result is a beautiful glass droplet which I frosted to matte finish and then added a sterling silver setting and bail. Like all my lampwork glass it is finished with sterling silver and hung on a sterling silver chain with bolt ring clasp.

The handmade glass drop is approximately 20mm top to bottom, 8mm across (at the widest point) and has a total drop, including the bail, of 3mm. I've put it on a 18"/45cm sterling silver chain but, if you'd prefer a different length, just let me know. The necklace will be presented in a gift box.
