This scarf was hand woven using a multicoloured yarn as the warp. This gives it lengthwise stripes which blend across the scarf. The weft is a luxurious blend of mohair and silk in a complementary shade, which adds a subtle (and very cosy) haze. Mel is wearing a a slightly different scarf, but you can see it’s a generous length to keep you warm and display its beautiful colours.
The scarf contains wool, mohair, silk and a little polyamide.
Each scarf is a unique one off measuring 205-217cm long (including a 10cm fringe at each end) and approximately 32cm wide.
