This scarf was hand woven using a multicoloured yarn as the warp, this gives it soft lengthwise stripes. The weft is a luxurious blend of kid mohair and silk in variegated greys, which adds a subtle (and very cosy) haze. As you can see, when it is modelled (by the lovely Melanie of Spiral Spin), it’s a generous length to keep you warm and display its beautiful colours.
The scarf contains lambs wool, kid mohair, silk and a little polyamide. I've made a few more of these scarves, each one is unique.
This scarf is a unique one off measuring 220cm long (including a 10cm fringe at each end) and 33cm wide.
